I will note that the Brandywine and Morrison Lake prospects both have "nuggety" type gold mineralization, meaning insanely high values of gold are unevenly distributed across the area of the ore body. This makes exploration more of a challange but not impossible. An example of this is Burns mountain near Wells BC. No I think we have very similar opinions, we just have different approaches.
The primary risk/gain factor is indeed commodity prices. I diversify for this by investing into both pm miners and other metal miners. If pm's somehow don't go up, industry will pick up its pace and other metals will. There's also jurisdictional risk which I can avoid by investing into companies that have projects around the globe.

I try to find companies that I think will either provide a good long-term return or companies that I think are undervalued, preferably both. In a bull market it doesn't really matter whether I bought a thousand or ten thousand shares at $0.3 or $0.5 but I see where you're coming from. It's hard to make back premiums for modern bullion. But 2020 ASEs may hold or increase that premium.

Think morgan dollars. You buy them at a premium but you will always be able to sell them for a premium. Now think about a 2018 silver proof set or a 2014 random anniversary event coin. If you're paying a premium for these and you will never get that money back

its because they are assay bars, their small one off bars either from the first smelt of a batch of concentrates or from the last batch. Its whats left over. Assayer bars were also often silver or gold a specific miner would have made from ore they brought to a mine or mill to be processed. The assayer kept a 5% commission on the smelt and the miner got the rest.

Also heres some gold assay bars from the SS Central America that crashed the New York Stock exchange when it sank carrying 400 tonnes of California gold rush wealth.

Meh. Bank reserves are not part of broad base money supply and that’s primarily what the Fed has been creating...reserves that are sitting locked away at the Fed doing jack squat. Every loan default and every loan payment that isn’t turned back around Into new lending is a decrease in the money supply. DC is dysfunctional to an unprecedented degree that I think the risk of fucking this up is truly there. They are not going to act sufficiently until we really feel the deflationary effects. Yes, systemic collapse is on the menu. If this were any other time, I’d say there’s no way it happens. But the current political climate is such that I am not optimistic they follow the path we would rationally think they would. Ultimately, they will likely do it, but there’s a lot of room for them to wait until later than many here would anticipate.

The other ones are all Northern. That's because I'm from over there, you might not have access to those shares. In short: Nordic Mining has a very promising 40y life of mine plan with over double the measured amount inferred -- they've already made a feasibility study and optimised it to reduce costs. Sotkamo Silver is a currently producing mine with at least 9Moz in the ground and likely a lot more to be explored around the mine. Norsk Hydro is like a jack of all trades, they have six different areas they work in, on the mining side they produce low-carbon footprint aluminum and cover the entire production process (bauxite -> aluminum products) and produce alumina for many different industries like energy, infrastructure and electronics for example.

All of these are currently undervalued in my opinion. Will add more Nordic Mining especially, if it goes down a bit more
