You can’t really go wrong with either, you’ll make gains.
If you can handle extreme shakeouts and retraces, go for LINK. You’ll make more with that, but it’s incredibly volatile.

Hands down, Link. At best BTC has 20x in her, until peak market. Link, at worst, has 150x. No brainer, really. BUT, mind you, there might be some coins out there, that could do even better. Problem is, 95% of them are scams, while Link is a sure thing.

BTC is safer. LINK has more potential upside, and more risk. There's a realistic possibility that you'll go 20x or better with LINK in the next few years, but that's really unlikely with BTC in the same timeframe.

Nothing will outperform LINK, if it does what its purported to do (solving the blockchain problem). It will literally cause ETH to be more valuable, as its dApps will be able to utilize oracles for smart contract transactions, which will in effect make BTC more valuable as liquidity and volume increases in the crypto market and its typically used as a common collateral in dapps and defi
