I'm studying for my cpa currently and having a mid-life crisis type breakdown at 22. It's all hitting me so fast. I'm now realizing this is what Im going to be doing to pay off my student loans for the next decade. I wish I would have done a cs degree. I need link to hit 100$ and soon. I cant fucking do it frens.

If it makes you feel better the exam is not really representative of what you will actually be doing at work. Think of taking a spreadsheet that someone else made and replacing last years numbers with this years numbers. That's what you'll be doing for a decade to pay back your loans. Welcome to the party, pal.

Everybody has to wageslave in their 20s. If you invest whatever cash you can spare you can hopefully retire in your 30s.

>take the exam
>pass
>TCJA passed
>a bunch of shit that I memorized is suddenly inapplicable
>want to die every tax season
>actually want to die now because I'm wage caging for October deadlines
At least the money is steady

Thats really the only reason I chose to do accounting. All my friends went engineering and I heard horror stories of people ending up without jobs after engineering but accountants always seemed to find steady work. Just wish I would have went cs.

So it does get better? I know the money is decent. I should land roughly 52k for my first year in my area. But I have to step into the wage cage and fight suicide daily. Im just freaking out because I literally have no other options. These loans are like a gun to my head.
