Quant as system unifying blockchains (and allowing for amalgamation) is better and actually adopted by banks, governments, working with intel/mit, partnered with the big four, etc. DOT is part of the crypto playground. Quant operates in reality. I'd put Quant in the same category as BTC, ETC, and LINK. DOT is a tier below them.
