yea thats not the only one we have sold off to the Chinese... there were 3 chinese placer camps in the Cariboo last year that were strip mining placer ground without permits, and got caught. I think it may have to do with the end of the exploration season, and also a lot of investors are looking for the ultra insane high grade drill results, like what Skeena Resources and Ascot have been getting recently. Guys buying into projects in the Golden Triangle district have expectations sometimes way outside the box and so they sell out after seeing results that dont match that, when really the results were fantastic. It happens more often than you would think too.

Uhhh, not really no. PMs are for AFTER things possibly get back to some semblance of normal. Right now we use fiat money and that is failing, it has failed through history, and it looks like it'll fail soon. When it fails, fiat money becomes useless, and that's what the food/ammo/supplies are for. They are good for living if shit gets bad, can be used for bartering and not overpaying.

The hope is that after society recovers on some level, PMs can be used to recover the wealth I worked to acquire. Even if shit doesn't hit the fan and leafbucks just go fucking all over the place for a while (all goes useless, governement goes full socialist with credit system, etc) eventually the hope is that PMs could be used to later to do stuff. Even with all that, worst case I could run from leafshit land and go somewhere else and guess what... PMs still have value in other countries.

After all that, PMs hold their value and usually gain value as time goes on, so converting my savings into PM doesn't equal a loss in wealth, it just converts it from one type of thing (fiat currency) to another type of thing (universally recognized and historically robust gold/silver).

For that you can just compare gold charts to silver charts. Gold has been steadily climbing most of the time while silver went down low and crabbed after 2008&2011. Silver only started climbing again when Buffett bought a bunch of it. I'd say that silver is undervalued and gold is a bit overvalued because of fear in the markets (although once the economy collapses gold cannot be overvalued of course). Gold and silver will both climb regardless because the market is fragile as fuck and we're on the verge of a deleveraging

A good comparison could be the extraction cost desu.
Extraction cost of 1oz gold : $600
Extraction cost of 1oz silver : $12
So imho it's a bit of both : silver is undervalued, but gold is overvalued in this regard. That said, extraction cost is currently very low because oil is in the gutter, but it surely wont last indefinitely. I am basing this on the fact that the holiday season is the time when there is most movement in the economy, as families buy gifts for eachother, and buissnesses want to settle their account books for the year. We haven't had a holiday season under occupation yet, as the occupation only started in March, so we just need to wait for the market to adjust, and watch the effects ripple out to the rest of the economy.

I tend to agree for the most part, BUT governments generally hate competition. There's a reason why they're preparing to impose a negative interest rate on the dollar to coincide with their FedCoin bullshit.

What would really happen today if we have (domestic) bank runs would be a "crack up boom" into brokerage accounts. There is currently no reserve requirement for US banks. As long as the Fed is willing sacrifice the dollar and foreigners don't dump US assets before Americans get scared of the dollar, the fed would allow the banks to force people to accept withdrawals as cashiers checks that they would take to their brokerage and buy some kind of assets with. Most people don't actually want physical currency and even if they demanded it I guarantee the fed would allow them to require you accept a cashiers check. This would mean that the banks would be able to have 0 deposits with trillions of dollars of loans outstanding without being insolvent.

99% of the time the cheapest gold/silver per toz is the best thing to get. Sovereigns often are the cheapest gold you can get per oz though, shop around, deals to be had

Consumers are not spending their money on what they would normally - savings is increasing. What do people do when they have more spare cash? They invest in the stock market.
There are no other alternatives to grow wealth right now
When there are no other choices, and money is being printed in the trillions, it's going to of course lead to a stock market bull run

You are stuck in a rational cause and effect paradigm, which is true for a lot of things.

What is taking over right now is an IRational cause and effect paradigm where the human emotional element is more important then the actual fundamentals. Most people didnt put their cash into stocks... they either left it in banks, spent it frivolously, or bought things like guns/ammo/food/prep stuff. Very few had PM's on the list, and very few will even if pms surge.

The supply lines are getting more and more strained, as is the political situation. As it progresses instead of rational use less/produce more reactions, you will see more irrational destroy/devalue/defame actions that make everything worse.
