Because i thought eventually i would make it work but didnt. Plus i was doing better for a while, turned my last 2 btc into 8 and then blew up spectacularly. If i had longed instead of shorted i coulda made a million dollars or 2 instead of losing the last 8 btc.

Good eye, it was exactly 25x. Before that i was doing 50x regularly and then tried to play it more conservatively with 25, the problem was i stayed in the wrong side for too long and didnt took a small lose and instead blew the whole account, for the last time. Nowadays completely broke.

From that, I have concluded that everything above 5x is a sucker's game unless you are super disciplined with your stop losses. Additionally, I believe there's a reason why traders won't go in with more than 1 or max 2% of their portfolio to minimize risk in case they are wrong. Even the best setups can turn against you.
