Why don't you have 6 figures from trading, biz?
Start with 500 dollars and buy bitcoin on spot (or with spot trading gains). Do 25x leverage. Get lucky and call 4% moves 8 times in a row. 128k. Ez.

Pic vaguely related

I only understood the first sentence.

I would literally need a step by step handholding to even try this.

Plus I'm unfortunately American so I don't think there's anywhere to do this that isn't being run out of a teenagers closet in Hanoi.

I'm from the u.s. too. You can use a vpn and trade on bybit. For the record I'm joking and lost money trading. I'm just pointing out how crazy it is that it is technically possible to make money super fast.
Just to give you a run down, 25x leverage means if you call a 4% move wrong, you lose everything. If you call it right, you double your money. I'm considering trying again with spot trade gains though since what I was doing before was retarded

How does time work? It can't be like theta in options right?

/biz is trash now. If you margin trade you are better off using now more than 10x(which is too high as it is) and leave plenty of excess margin open to withstand down swings. Everyone knows BTC is going up in the next 12 along with others like LINK, ETH etc so you could do like 10x with $5000 and only use about $1200 on the position with the other 3800 to prevent liquidation. You could withstand another 30% drop from your basis on the buy in. The other method is to dollar cost average in margin positions as well. After March though who knows TONS of people got wrecked and didn't expect that kind of crash to happen so quickly. A second wave could be a disaster but I don't think it will go down like that now since the FED is under Mnuchin's control and its going BRRRRRR endlessly

imo there's really no difference between people who are 15 and people who are 35, in terms of mentality. it's like some time in the mid 90s education stopped being provided, and all of you just became cookie cutter retards.

>> No.23067748

you type like you're addied up the ass. the March drop was an epic shakeout of normies who don't understand shit and they are the unironic boboposters. as the bull run picks up steam and more massive corrections come in to shake out normies most of them will lose out on gains and btc will lose correlation with s&p

Amazing no way you can actually believe those words. You obviously suffer from massive solipsism, the epitome of the average cookie cutter retards. Ironically the people in their 30s right now are most likely to be the farthest from being one. Boomers are completely stuck in their ways totally clueless of how anything has changed since they were that age and fucking zoomers are high on THC vape pens 24/7 from 13 on wards doing tik tok dances in their spare time.

Idk what the fuck addied means? Drugs? which are for faggots anyway. Regardless everything I said was true. I've made 6 figures this year from futures doing basically nothing.

You're retarded. I even made a comment on how this was mostly a joke post, you dumbass. Basically highlighting how escaping the wagecage is technically in your grasps but not really. Secondly, if you do take it seriously, you'd only lose gains on spot trades. Thirdly, you use TA and would only trade on the macro. Not day trade

>> No.23067973

Yes, Adderall which zoomers all seem to be addicted to. I didn't claim anything you said was untrue. But using more leverage with less outlay is no different than using proportionally less leverage with more capital provided you maintain the same risk management

>> No.23067975

>>23067953
and by macro I mostly mean swing trade which is a mid term trade. I'll prob use some of my free uni when I feel btc has hit a bottom since it's trading mid ranged right now meaning it could go up or down without actual resistance or supports stopping it i.e. it's random and anyone's guess where bitcoin could go at current prices

i believe those words because i've interacted with a lot of people between the ages of 15 and 35, and the mentality is identical. over 35, trending towards 40, maturity and competence tends to return and 40+ are either competent or drug addled, no in between.

You don't have to be liquidated. You just need to run a really tight stop which sucks because you'll get shaken out before it pumps often but at least you'll keep your losers in a 1-2% of account equity range.

Yes ik that, BUT that also means getting stopped out by scam wicks which is why I'd prefer to just leave it alone. A loss won't hurt if it's only gains being affected. It hurts when it's actual money you got from working. At least that's how I see it

>> No.23068897

This is too much risk tho, i buy every presale with min buy in and sell right on uniswap listing to cover buy in, then swing trade the rest

>> No.23068948

>>23068897
It's really not if you're just playing with gains (not what you initially invested) and swing trading rarely on key supports/resistances only.
That said, I was joking with the 8x in a row. You'd probably want to do this 4-5 times max and then start over with 500 again. I'm just waiting on a better time since btc is mid ranged right now.

25x leverage
100€ moves 2500€
so if your "borrowed" 2500€ go down 100€ to 2400 (here 4%) you get liquidated as you have lost your collateral
does that make sense?

>> No.23070542

>>23069758
Actually yeah it does. So how does a stop loss work with leverage?
