cant stop laughing at degens calling andre a snake when its their own stupidity and greed to jump head first buying the token. It literally only took seconds to check the contract on etherscan and see continuousMint function.

Its taking advantage of the market. Shit like this is everywhere, for example: fast food chains taking advantage of Amerifats' cravings.

This is no different. Its just a bunch of tech literate devs who are taking advantage of mentally capped investors who think they can get rich overnight.

I would never advocate for the death of even the filthiest scammer
I would advocate for lawful persecution for financial crimes

they think these are harmless crimes but there are people who will come after them

I don't think so, if he really glows, his client has no interest for any government to get involved into defi yet. Why kill a golden goose, would be like if the CIA hadn't put Noriega into place and didn't run the cocaine trade
>>23041491

that is something that shot through my mind looking at the current state of defi - there are still whales out there that became whales with darknet stuff and managed to slip through every trap.

Yep, most likely insiders or just dumb luck on their end at that point lol. Since everything is visible on chain too, they might be specifically targeting the points where defi becomes cefi, because at some point even hackers/whales have to cash out...

this scammer had to adopt a new identity and faked his own death in order to take the money and run:

There were really clever guys back in the day, people who understood what securing an operation meant and what an actual canary in the coal mine was, I don't think the Black Market reloaded admin was ever identified.
But with defi, what is more juicy for somebody who slipped through all cracks, has still ten thousands of bitcoin in some wallets and looks for a regular easy income, than wrapping a part of his loot and make a liquidity pool.

The bitmex casino is as good as gone and with it one of the last more safer hideouts

>> No.23041911

>>23041839
It's interesting, because at that point they may be increasing their value on chain, but it will only make it more tempting for them to move off chain, while still increasing the total value locked in the projects too before they do decide to do that. Will be fascinating to see where this all goes in the future that's for sure lol

>> No.23041990

>>23041911
It's a clever trap, and I wouldn't wonder if out of the blue some regulations would appear that require liquidity pool creators and maintainers to reveal their identity or be locked up forever. Either way as always it will be entertaining to watch how it works out in the end

>> No.23042137

Yeah definitely, the way I see it allowing more activity to happen on defi platforms only makes the probability of tracking the whales and actors better for the agencies, while still letting the small fish feel relatively safe at the same time. If they were to apply pressure then it would either cause those systems to adapt faster to it or fizzle out and make them look elsewhere to do their laundry.

>> No.23042236

>>23042137
You are right makes more sense. Why catch them, if you only need to know where they are, and when the time is right put them the pistol on the head and ask the usual question, are you with us or against us. I really don't like the CIA, but they are fucking cowboys and get the job done.
