My seiko was off by abou 45 seconds a day. That bad and it might as well be a wind up since I'm fiddling with it every other day. My cheaper steel and mother of pearl faced one actually kept better time but wouldn't self wind as well. Just buy what you like and is practical. Man the amount of watch noobsb n this thread confirms my suspicions. Its a gmt hand it allows me to keep track of two time zones. Useful back when I actually traveled for work. The numbers on the rotating bezel allow for a 3rd time zone calculation. Subs are just time and date and hardcore pressure tolerant. A GMT adds a unique complication. Honestly get off the chan and do research elsewhere. I've been into watches 10 years and learned more on my own through trial and error than any 30nmknute YouTube video. One anon said get a nice seiko then save for a real watch and he's right. Do not waste your money on mid tier garbage like Tissot, oris, omega, breitling, all of that is shit and tanks in value the moment you buy it. If you have to get a speedmaster buy used. The only watch that I would consider remotely useful is one that has different functions incoporated, like an altimeter, barometer and so on. But smartphones already do this, and accuracy will improve over time, so idk
