I work at a broker and move crypto sizes that significantly move the markets. Often, I know where the prices will go for the next hours (especially for less liquid crypto) but I am not allowed to trade it. Is this hell?

>> No.23015278

what is ur tg id

>> No.23015292

Newfag here. Why aren't you allowed to trade anon and what can they do against it or how would they notice you trading crypto?

>> No.23015309

>>23015254
how could they ever know you tell someone to do insider trading?

Insider trading, dude. This is economics 101.

>> No.23015347

Insider trading is obviously illegal. Also, I can‘t have my private laptop there and it would be retarded to do it on the company machine.

Thanks I'm gonna read through some stuff about it and do my research

Yeah, I feel you. Was at the same job but left for a better position in a smaller company.

Ps. Get a trading bot for tg and mask it as a chat. I obviously never did that. It's illegal. Winkwink

Oh yeah, also get a burner number to tie the bot to.

Are you people saying this ironically or what? Is there a Crypto SEC now and I didn't get the memo?

That sounds interesting. Would you hypothetically only trade on exchanges without KYC?

the SEC has been prosecuting cases in crypto since at least 2016. You just believed the /biz/ lies about it being unregulated

When it's time to pay taxes.
Go to any online casino, deposit, go 46.5% red 46.5% black 7% green, take out the winnings. You now have clean statement and money you've won gambling at about 7% edge. If there's no green, it's 0.5% edge.

Yeah the clients are usually calling to buy/sell. Using bots is always a risk and you would not give your bot access to your 50 mil crypto account. Also these people are using it mostly out of convenience.

You faggots don't get it. The problem is not insider trading it's that your orderbook info belongs to your employer and not you. If they catch you using information that belongs to them for personal profit not only will you be liable for breach of contract and associated penalties, you would also immediately become unemployable AND your employer could still sue you after all that for damages.
Unless you hate your job, know what you're doing AND have a backup plan in the event you are discovered and fired, would not recommend.
