bitcoin is not turing complete but after taproot it will be able to execute large semi-turing complete deterministic scripts that still require an external driver.
bsv is not truing complete period.

>> No.23004737

>>23004655
basically bitcoin can do stupid big smart contracts that are only partially revealed and can run cyclically (basically rolled out loops) in a predetermined manner that the driver can not alter and with minimal on-chain burden as the script would not take up space in the transaction block.

bsv has open ended contracts that are not enforced in execution and they would have a huge on-chain burden if they tried to publish the entire rolled out script which is ridiculous and they would still need to create a new script for every iteration that the old script can not enforce the decision tree of.

OK so ETH or other crypto is turing complete or not?
What you can do on ETH but cant do on BSV?

Ask me how I know it probably won't happen.
