Even if everyone sold right at this very instant b/c of some protocol failure or whatever, each and every single core would still be worth $1,500. It does need ANY new buyers or anything else to maintain at least $15,000,000 of total market value at a minimum (and this is constantly going up).

Long term value is supposed to come from fees from services (i.e. vaults)

Possible risks besides smart contract failure are:
-Developer never delivers on implementing the service
-Service fails to gain popularity due to market saturation (or holders failing to govern properly and choosing to do something retarded)

If either of those scenarios occurs, the only income would be from CORE trading fees -> people gradually lose interest and sell their CORE -> price falls
