id consider waiting. AFter that Buy vangard 500, or total stock (VTI) accumulate that for atleast a year. Then branch out into toher stratageys. The best way to double your money is to fold it up and put it in your back pocket. Savings accounts dont beat the inflation rate, but atleast untill the election i would start to save it. Then buy VTI and VOO if things look good. Dont day trade or even month or year trade for atleast a year untill you know the shit. I have been using this stratagey for 7 years and have doubled my money. you can too! its considerd a little conservative for /biz but it should work. when trying to develop a strategy to beat this market, remember you are looking forward, not back. Learn the basics such as P/E and go forward from there. ask yoruself "what if any strategy can beat this" and use a paper account to test your results. Remember you are asking yourself this for a 20/ year time. If you even have a strategy, it would only really prove itself succesful when you are ready to make a big financial move (buying a house, paying for kids college, retiring) I treat the money i speculate with as non savings. Inother words its a hobby in my budget. The goal is to make money, but as far as savings go I just buy vangard 500 mutual or VTI ect. Its gambling my dude. Treat it like you are going to the casino.
