best advice i've heard (as a fellow crypto newfag) is dont invest more than you're willing to lose. i lost a fair amount in the recent downturn but it's nothing i can't easily recover from, which makes it easier to tolerate said loss. don't be a retard and put your entire savings account into crypto. put in a few hundred (if you can spare that) and get comfortable with the process

Just take a look at Bitcoin or Ethereum 5 years ago.
-On 09/30/2015, Bitcoin was $236.05. Today it is worth $10,771.42.
-On 09/30/2015 Ethereum was $0.73. Today it is worth $360.

People back then probably wouldn't have even imagined they would get to these prices. And this is supposed to be a dip. If you are the kind of person who lives paycheck to paycheck and loves spending on material things, I wouldn't recommend it. This is more a long term hold. I'm not saying you have to wait 5 years to see major gains, but don't expect to see them days, weeks or even months later. If you like investing in your future, definitely start off with what you can. Believe me, if you put even $50-100 every week or two, you're already way ahead of the crowd. We're still pretty early in this, believe it or not. I would recommend investing in Ethereum and UNI (Uniswap) Both still have a lot of room for growth, way more than Bitcoin
