STA fuddera are wrong. STA dick riders are wrong too. STA is not done yet. We still have 1-2 more pumps to go. That being said it's not like holding it long term is a good idea either like STA people say. The truth is somewhere in between. STA in reality is a good mid term hold. Dont hold for more than a couple months and you will make some great gains.

The extremes between not holding at all and never selling are not very smart. Being somewhere inbetween and feeling out the obvious market and gains will make you way more money.

>why are people so extreme with Statera it's either funding to oblivion or never selling

If STa gets going im not selling. The amount of passive income will be retarded I’d make the same amount again in like a month, (we have seen 1000% APY before when the volume was high).

>> No.22937674

>>22937557
The problem is that even though I hold 40k STA, is that it doesn't stay there and the volume doesn't last. There would have to be something revolutionary that the team brings to the table so that it doesn't dump right away again.
It ALWAYS dumps after a pump. I tried holding the last 3 pumps and never selling. But I just missed out by not selling and taking profits near the top.
If you dont take profits with this coin you are missing out. You can just sell near the top and buy back in near the bottom because this coin ALWAYS dumps. Its unfortunate but that's the way it is.
If you aren't taking profits you are losing.

Sounds like crypto in general to me.

I pooled at around 30 cents and exit the pool when we hit 12c. I made a lot of STA as DCA on the way down and am re-investing the fees earned in more STA during this dip. When STA eventually starts going back up I’ll have even more STA. Idk man if volume increases even more than the last pump had then I seriously believe you will lose more on selling.

Of course I would have been better off just selling THIS time. But that’s because the dip was so big. The more adopted it becomes the more stable it becomes as well. That’s the way I see it.

The question is, what would make it hold its price at a high price? What would STA need to maintain a high stable price instead of dumping to below 20c?

More liquidity in the pools means the balancer will buy STA if whales try dumping it, making dumps essentially impossible.

STA was and is great as a long-term P&D when you time it correctly, but holding it? holding it no longer makes any sense because it's been blacklisted from receiving BAL token rewards and because YFI and its clones have insane level APY viable.
STA tried to ride the farming bandwagon that started with Aave stablecoin farming, obviously failed and YFI won.
AMPL also had its moment of glory for like 3-4 weeks before it went to shit because c'mon giving an infinite amount of tokens with no locking mechanics is a recipe for disaster. It made no fucking sense for AMPL to give +10% rebases EVERY DAY unless you wanted a massive dump to happen.

LINK, STA, AMPL proves that we need locking mechanisms. The majority of people cannot be fucking trusted to HODL this thing and neither diversify their portfolio to put their gains into their main coin. CORE and ORB are already starting to get into it. SHUF, PAMP, BUIDL, TENDIES, SPARTA have provided the first stepping stones. We now just need something revolutionary like YFI to keep swingers from swinging or to swing their stack back right away into a token.

>> No.22938549

>>22938342
That's what I was thinking anon. You hold it long term. Have a price point to sell for every pump, then sell. Buy back in a couple weeks when it gets near the bottom.
Rinse and repeat.

>> No.22938748

>>22938549
The token practically taught the community(or at least the smartguys) to do this with the V1,STAclassic,V3 even before the hack, it practically begged to be swing traded.
Hell with so many arbitrage opportunities and what happened this summer with AMPL and YFI a benevolent whale could have bought up 90% of the total supply directly from users capitulating and finally ceased the dumps by controlling the liquidity and enabled quick pumps by removing the liquidity. He could had even burned his entire stack.
Token started at like 10k-20k marketcap, every single version, every single glitch it resetted back to OTC price just like LINK during the Corona crash, realistically somebody could have bought the total supply. Too bad nobody took it upon himself to do it at large scale.

And YFI is just 2 months old and managed to pull a 10,000x
XOR is just 3 months old an managed to pull a 1,000x
BUIDL, PAMP, Cap.Finance, too many microcaps to list which started at 10k or even higher at around 100k managed to pull off a 100-300x and mantained their price

70% of True YFI clones pumped 300x like it was nothing and maintained their price. Except for all those food clones which crashed and died after they pulled a reasonable 50-100x
