Any OG SEO hustlers around? How are you doing? Is it still a viable income strategy? What are the newest marketing trends? Just recently read a post on /fit/ how a dude pulled 200k/month for a couple of years doing SEO in finances, like debt relief and commercial banking. Didn't strike me as larp as it was just an off topic discussion.

Not sure if blogs are still profitable, depends what you use SEO for. What do you plan to do anyway?

People complain about pajeets on /biz/ but blackhatworld is the real pajeet central

I learned a lot from there for free though. I like it. I'd be interested to learn a lot more about SEO though.

anything, really. from blogs to backdrop shipping, email lists etc.

was it back in the day, though? but yes, saw a thread where everyone noticed that like 40% are nigerians. either way, there is some really useful information there and can't find anything remotely as decent.

I did learn a lot there too but the spam that people post just to increase their post count is almost unbearable. Almost half the replies in any given thread add nothing to the conversation.

I've had an account there since 2010 and in my memory it's always been like that.

There's some good information to find there but there is a ton of garbage to sort through.

Did SEO way back a few years for blogs, it was not as profitable. And Google changes their algorithm often so it became pretty hard to game it eventually. Did that guy from /fit/ give any tricks to succeed?

Is affiliate marketing dying or just too saturated? Wdym no affiliate sites?

quoting what he posted:
>drop shipping is redditor poor mode garbage. never go into any industry that doesn't have shockingly good LTVs. i only do finance.
>debt relief and commercial banking are my biggest ones. one site was making 200k/m for a couple years, but other people copy/pasted what i was doing and it turned into a race to the bottom. this is why no body shares fucking anything in seo.

4-5k€ a month is normal for my position in my country (Nordic). Right now a lot of work and stress makes me wanna end it. I work for a company that offers SEO as a service, so we have a sales team.

>>22935900
I don't run any large sites myself now. Just a few small ones that make me a few hundred bucks a month. Market is getting more and more competitive = More work for less pay.

Still, you can find decent niches if you just try out things.

I see, so it's finance related. Thanks. Link to the thread?
I also agree that yes, there are tons of rewrite fags who just copy paste blogs before and backlink the fuck to other copy paste blogs.

True, marketing is actually bot territory imo. That's how it scales.

ok I see. but yes, I'm basically on niche hunt and tryin to make use of the fact that I'm from a small and rich country that lacks behind in some departments and trends. I keep reading posts of people that claim that it's so damn easy to make big bux here but if you don't know, then you don't know I guess.

You can still try, especially if your language is not too popular. You dont need to worry about copypaste pajeets.

How do the affiliate sites work? Is it just blogs with keywords and ads to services where you get paid per referral? How do you actually profit without selling your own service?

why would you waste time with SEO, which was interesting in 2010 maybe, when you can just buy the next bitmex before it's launched?
