I just bought 100 AVAX after hearing the news about LINK, what am I in for?

No, the Avalanche consensus algorithm is a genuine breakthrough in the underlying computer science. Nothing else has really attained that kind of a breakthrough on scaling.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXrrqtFlGow

-4,500 tps (could reach 20,000 tps with further optimization)
-less than 3 seconds latency
-scales to tens of thousands of validators

I've seen this same post in multiple threads unrelated to avax. Horrible way to shill your coin, My advice, When you constantly shill your coin (Or generally when a coin receive decent amount of shills) and the price is indifferent/dump, It means it ran out of gas and you should save your shills to different time.

There have been in talks with several big projects. They aren't sitting on their asses waiting for devs to examine the project. They also have a generous dev grant program.

It is probably their day of the month. It looks okay, but for the current market no rationality to buy vc and ico bags right now, after it was listed on the unholy trinity of washtraders. Nobody wants to be the first one switching from an established platform to a new one, no matter how many names do their lip service. Might be worth looking at it in 4 or 5 months, and by all means if it is at a Quadrillion market cap and has conquered the market, so be it.

It’s 10% APY afaik and you’re the one who decides how long to stake for, different nodes have different amounts you can max stake for and have different fees and uptimes so just choose one with low fees, many users and 100% uptime and I’d recommend staking for 2 weeks first

>is there some kind of freezing time, etc
You choose the staking period. The minimum is 2 weeks.

>b) can i unstake whenever i want to
You can't unstake. Once you choose a staking period you will have to wait until it's finished, but you will receive the rewards every 2 weeks regardless of the staking period.

Also keep in mind that staking for a longer period = more reward. For example, staking 8 weeks is better than staking 2 weeks 4 times in a row, I haven't looked up the exact equation, but the wallet will show you the potential rewards before confirmation.

I don’t have a technical enough knowledge to know exactly how easy it is for projects to switch over. They claim it is easy. If that’s true, and it is much faster, then I think it will do very well in the near to mid-term.
