When Bancor V2.1 is released with pools that mitigate impermanent loss and enable single token staking a tsunami of liquidity is going to migrate to Bancor’s pools making them most liquid. This will massively lower slippage enabling Bancor’s v2.1 pools to capture the vast majority of DeFi trade volume. Not a single other AMM project has successfully mitigated impermanent loss yet. anyway everything has changed about bancor since 2017. BNT has a whole new token model as of January 2020 and the big thing that’s coming now is the v2.1 upgrade of their liquidity pools that will mitigate impermanent loss and enable single token staking. not going to spoon feed why these things are a big deal, but if you don’t already understand the implications just DYOR. long story short, it’s not being hyped at all but it’s going to make BNT extremely valuable whenever it’s announced, and apparently that’s soon. YFI money god andre is involved with this somehow too. There’s also meant to be a DAO coming as well. Kek.
