The problem is that parasitic classes of people are allowed to drain off the resources of the productive while contributing nothing in turn, and the mechanism by which they do this is hidden behind a veil of abstraction that you can project anything onto if you don't understand just what the wizard is doing behind the curtain. Today it's usury. Tomorrow it's income sharing agreements which will lead to indentured servitude. Then it rolls back to royalties and rent. As long as you think that it's just usury then you're always at least two steps behind.
