Is it true that this is the safest hold right now? It’s basically what BTC should of been conceptually, and has widespread adoption on the darknet. It isn’t that volatile, and its lows has only gone up since the 2017 boom. Thoughts?

False. It's the polar opposite of what Bitcoin is suppose to be and that's a good thing. Monero is the only coin on the market besides Bitcoin that actually serves a purpose. Which is why Monero is the only thing I hold besides Bitcoin.

xmr problems, as I see them
>lack of normie on-ramps
>kyc scaring people away
>official gui wallet is a little clunky
>glowies scaring normies away with fear of it being banned

I don't think xmr can ever be banned, torrents are a good example of that. They're still around after all the lobbying of the music/movie jews.

Benefits of xmr

I think xmr is a strong hold. There was a vid posted on /biz a few weeks ago from a former hedge-fund guy saying that he shills xmr to his buddies instead of btc due to privacy concerns.

In terms of speculating, priced in negatives are really positives. Nobody expects a coinbase listing so if it doesn't happen it's neutral but if it does it would be a big positive. All upside.
