Is it true that this is the safest hold right now? It’s basically what BTC should of been conceptually, and has widespread adoption on the darknet. It isn’t that volatile, and its lows has only gone up since the 2017 boom. Thoughts?

Tbh it’s always a buy but the opportunity cost is too high.
If I had to keep coins for 10 years without touching I’d take some Monero along Ocean Protocol, Agi and NKN.

4 make it coins to keep 10 years.
And then maybe rlc with it

Monero is actually growing in adoption, unlike all the other shitcoins that are spammed on this board, people actually use Monero.

False. It's the polar opposite of what Bitcoin is suppose to be and that's a good thing. Monero is the only coin on the market besides Bitcoin that actually serves a purpose. Which is why Monero is the only thing I hold besides Bitcoin.

Gentle reminder: by Bitcoin I of course mean BSV.

xmr problems, as I see them
>lack of normie on-ramps
>kyc scaring people away
>official gui wallet is a little clunky
>glowies scaring normies away with fear of it being banned

I don't think xmr can ever be banned, torrents are a good example of that. They're still around after all the lobbying of the music/movie jews.

Benefits of xmr
>privacy
>good community that supports its devs (randomx fork showed that)
> good at kicking off asics and lets normies cpu mine
> people always say stuff about inflation, idc much about that

I think xmr is a strong hold. There was a vid posted on /biz a few weeks ago from a former hedge-fund guy saying that he shills xmr to his buddies instead of btc due to privacy concerns.

In terms of speculating, priced in negatives are really positives. Nobody expects a coinbase listing so if it doesn't happen it's neutral but if it does it would be a big positive. All upside.

ETH has the most development, can already scale to 10k tps on L2 and the final testnet before POS ETH was just released. Sharding on ETH 2.0 allows it to scale to a theoretical 160k tps with sharding. ETH has an infinite supply now but transaction fees will be burnt, this will make it deflationary. Ethereum has numerous teams working on privacy and you can already use zk-SNARKS on Ethereum.

Monero can scale though there is no blocksize limit.
The supply is unlimited but the rate of inflation will infinitely approach 0%.
