I agree he took a larger than advisable position, but to ignore this asset class today is far more foolish. When you have to manage funds for investors it can't just stay in a losing position, cash, or precious metals. There just aren't any gains there. Commodities are about the only other viable investment at this time. If you've ever invested in commodities, they are most certainly volatile. BTC lines up well with commodity options positions.
