Buy a debt portfolio, any where from 2gs up to 40gs.
Turn over to a collections agency, work a % deal. Let them work and cut you a check every month, they take a cut and you do almost nothing.

Sure you will never see full return on the "value" of the debt. But you buy a 200,000$ portfolio for 2000$, and at the end of the year you make 15000$ to 30000$ depending on how good your collections agency is.... Not a bad deal.

Use American based collections companies, people literally won't respond to jeets. It's tempting at first cause they take much much lower % on collections, but they have trash results.
Also if your portfolio is location specific to like say a hospital chain in your state, hire out collections specifically in your state as they can work some extra voodoo on collecting debt like filing liens on property, or even court mandated payroll withholdings to pay it down. But if you use an out of state they are less likely to go to extremes for you.

Yeah older debt portfolio get passed around like tweeker pussy. Usually they are around cause people can't get a dime out of them. I aim for portfolios that are max 5 years, but I aim for 2 or 3.
I don't know Californias rules on debt collecting, but if its like their taxes it's probably fucking retarded. I'd buy states near you like Nevada or Oregon that might have better rules.
