Unironically yes. With women, you have three options:
(1) you make more money than her, you manage the finances, and she spends behind your back and begs you for dumb luxuries
(2) she makes more money than you, she manages the finances, and you spend behind her back and beg her for dumb luxuries
(3) you keep rigorously separate finances, and argue about what is whose the whole time
No matter what you do, you'll resent each other in the end. People weren't made to bring each other happiness.

Tesla (obviously)

Natural Gas infrastructure already in place, they use RNG to power their vehicles. RNG is THE BEST WAY TO POWER BIG VEHICLES, BECAUSE IT"S THE CLEANEST. Giving them the biggest advantage over Tesla, Nikola or any other EV in the field.

I keep saying this over and over....Natural Gas is already built in the hubs of:

1) Ups
2) Fedex
3) Amazon

I have personally witnessed and seen with my 20/20 eye sight, their LNG/CNG fuel stations. It's a EASY transition to go to Hyliion. Plus, with many their Semi fleets, they have existing Diesel semi's they can convert to hybrids using Hyliion's aftermarket part.

It's the reason why they're the highest priced SPAC pre-merger this year. Hedge funds are behind this stock.

Had a feeling you would spout that same crap. I already know this a nothing burger, retard.

NFL is a team sport, closer proximity with more people. Likely chance of virus to reach large number on team is high. Which is why Draftkings PUTS are looking tasty...since they're cheap.

I'm looking at Mid-October for at least half the team to test positive and cancel game.

I'm not looking for -50% on Draftkings "WHOLE SEASON CANCELED" like you're implying.

I'm looking for the virus to cause investors in Draftkings to sweat enough when they hear a team had to cancel game due to widespread positive results in the team. -10% drop is what I'm looking at.

If I don't get that, since we're in deflationary environment. I might not need the virus to do anything...and still get -10% due to bear market.

>1m timeframe, AMD or similar stock with high liquidity and a tight spread
>take every zero crossing
>1x the ATR in risk, 3x the ATR in reward on every trade
>exit early if neither side has been popped but the chaikin flips the other way

rate my system. it's been working surprisingly well in backtesting so far, idk how i could really make it better. even using something like an EMA as a baseline seems to just make it worse because there are plenty of successful signals that go against the trend and if you waited until it crossed the line to enter, you'd be too late to get the 3x target. feels like in general 1:3 risk reward is pretty kino, taking a few losses here or there isn't a big deal because often on bad days you'll get a couple of successful trades that'll cancel out your bad ones and on good days you make loadsa money. that said i still need to put more time into testing out 1:2 1x the ATR and 1:2 1.5x the ATR. honestly feels like day trading is looking more like risk management is more important than anything else, but im curious to hear people's thoughts and suggestions on the issue.

>Im not gamerfag and understand Gamestop to be antiquated business model
it is. in the next few months to a year they might be artificially inflated because of incorrect assumptions about just how bad their business would be right now, as well as extra cash on hand due to market shenanigans and some big releases coming out, as well as possibly a speculative bump if/when they start going up.

however, their core business model is, as you pointed out, antiquated and on the way out. there'll always be some demand for physical sales, but it's far less than what they're currently set up for and their competitors in the space also have other stuff people actually want (like groceries), which is why they've tried to pivot to selling game merchandise that no one wants.

if you want to go in now, there's a good chance you'll be able to make a few dollars in the short term (e.g. few months to a year), but you'll need to cash out before people realize that the fundamental issues with their business model have not been resolved and before that comes back to kick them in the ass. i'd give that a year or two tops unless they come out with a new strategy that somehow makes sense in the long term (i can't think of one that would).

The twitter and reddit comments on gaming threads will always be DUDE IM DEFINETLY GETTING THE PHYSICAL VERSION GONNA LOAD UP SOME SPYRO THE DRAGON LIKE WHEN I WAS 12 THANKS FOR THE GOLD KIND STRANGER!. But the majority of sales will be digital downloads in the era of instant gratification. Why drive to Walmart at 12am when I can buy the deluxe edition with 3 day early access and pre download the game and get 5000 FIFA coins and play immediately. I keep seeing the GameStop line pictures shilled by a desperate anon. That doesn’t represent the majority. And obviously it’s one of the only ways to get the console on release day. and in the end, they don't have to capture the entire market, they just have to be worth their $600 million market cap. $200 million e-commerce revenue is already worth almost a $1 billion market cap alone if they can prove it can be maintained or grow.

Dividends only make sense as a replacement for bonds if you didn't have any entering into a "bear market".

>> No.22860895

>>22860734
It's not even a question of portfolio size, it's a question of risk ratios and the way dividend payouts work: your stock's price is adjusted as the dividend is payed so you have to hold for a while before it even recovers, until then you've made nothing from the dividend. How long you have to wait depends on the stock and is usually an indication of stock desirability, although it's skewed by ETFs (a quickly recovering stock was bought by algos because the forward yield on cost was slightly better than whatever the algo was holding and the risk is low, due to the dividend adjustment to share price). Next, as mentioned, dividend stocks have the pesky tendency to dump with the market, yet not recover with the market. This gives the impression of a high yield while market is low, but in these times, the stocks almost always reduce or cut divvies, usually before you get to receive a single enhanced yield-on-cost payout, so it's worthless. This is for 2 reasons: market dump usually affects the company bottom line, and keeping the high payout will force the stock to bleed to death with no chance of recovery. Reducing the payout allows the market recovery to somewhat outdo the dividend price adjustment, thus very slowly crabbing upward (or at least staying flat, which is better than continuing to dump).
Additionally, because of the need to hold the stock before the ex-div date (and, depending on jew brokers, sometimes through the payment date, although you should normally instead be holding only after the record date, however you'll be holding much longer as discussed because of the adjustment and recovery), you don't have the same flexibility in dumping the stock if the market dumps, as you already realize a "forward loss" by dumping before receiving divvies (as you count on divvies as your return). At the bottom, if you buy back in, as discussed, you don't get greater returns as the stock doesn't recover and certainly doesn't increase divvies.

And your divvy not being cut is not speculation? You realize that unless it's an MLP or REIT they have no obligation to pay anything, right? (Oh wait, you don't, because you have no idea how dividends or stocks work). Even if it's MLP or REIT, you're speculating on what the company's profit will be. It's also pure speculation and nothing more, except the yield is absolute trash on top of being speculation.
>dividend payouts is actual liquid cash given regularly and reliably
>reliably
Fucking lmao no.
>regularly
Just sell your SPY shares regularly and collect the cash. Same thing, 3x the returns.
>Don't act like there's not a list of stocks that have reliably increased dividends through multiple crashes
That's the truth of it though. Almost no divvy stocks increase divvies reliably, let alone through multiple crashes. When they do, you still speculate that the next time it will be the same. Finally, those companies that increase divvies during crashes usually have outrageously bad payouts in the first place, like 1-2% (literally less than inflation!! Literally less returns than a """high rate""" guaranteed returns account, yet not guaranteed to return anything!). Meanwhile anything with a decent yield (5%+) is going to cut no matter what.
"High div yield" is another problem: you make it sound like "high yield" is high when it's also ridiculously low (about on par with QQQ returns, but higher risk), and as you mention, they're complete traps.

Most banks won't offer you the best rates, and even then if you have a lot of money and opt for HYSAs savings accounts have floating rates. If you want fixed rates and opt for the bank route you're better off buying CDs and holding it equal to the time you would've kept the money in the savings account. To put in perspective, for the past year the best savings rates around 2.5-2.75% have been all shaved down to 0.75-1%

You don't need to keep to a traditional IRA, or IRA + roth, or whatever. You can have a non-registered account, too. Far more flexible for playing around and no contribution limit. Shame about the taxes but it is what it is.
I don't think OPTI in your IRA is good though. You won't be able to take enjoy it until you're old.
You should flip it into QQQ or SPY if you don't want no trabbu with your returns, but quite frankly TQQQ or SOXL is safe as hell and should be preferred so long as you don't need the money tomorrow.

>Why would you want volatile income
Bonds
>Qualified dividends are tax free until your income is above 40, if married 80.
Capital gains rapidly outpace dividend yields. Anyone below 40 should not be bothering with them.

Option 4. Marry a Trad country wife and live in the country, my wife was literally in a Bush Hog for two hours this morning already, then she made me waffle and now we’re watching church online. Her and her mother will watch the baby after church for a few hours, then her sister will watch the baby and her and her mother will join me, my father and her father on the property for some additional Bush Hogging, we have some land to cut back before winter.

if you're a billionaire yeah it's a no brainer.

>> No.22861589

>>22861537
When you're a billionaire you can't move your money around for shit, so dividends, while yielding fuckall, are still a better play than growth, despite growth having far better returns, because you couldn't sell your stocks without crashing the market, yet you retain stable income from the dividend.

Idk, bought some and have been extremely nervous since than. Worst part being I had a chance in the 350-370 range but waited....ended up getting a bit at 390 at first before selling it the next day, only to buy back in the low 400s. Not sure I'll keep it desu, the amount of anxiety I'm having is horrendous.

>But the majority of sales will be digital downloads in the era of instant gratification
you're thinking like someone who plays games on the PC.

Digital only consoles have a massive storage issue due to the balooning size of modern games (see pic related).

Ps5 has 825 GB of internal storage, and I don't know the price on expansion

The XBOX series S (digital only version) has 512 GB of storage (LOL) and can be expanded with a 1TB card for $220, versus the $100 more for the series X

People are really overselling the death of physical in console normie space
