It just has to do with removing things you cant remove otherwise such as iron. Its also healthy for your body to have to replenish the red blood cells. Obviously this is only a tip for healthy non immunocompromised men.
I believe our history is one where we were essentially bled often and our bodies want to have to replenish.
If you do bleeding you might need to take as much iron as a woman does btw
