It's simple: you take a pack of your favorite loose leaf tea. You brew that motherfucker. Then you look at the arrangement of leaves when they lend in your cup. If they for man up-arrow while you focus real hard on the stock you like, green line go up. If a down arrow, red line go down. Any other case is crab.
The close value of QQQ on that chart is no higher than on ~09/23 or ~09/16 and 17, or 09/14, which, before that, was a support at 09/08 and 09/06ish, so there is a lot of pent-up sell pressure there right now, which makes moving higher hard. If the pressure doesn't get exhausted completely, shit's heading back down again.
Simultaneously, higher low series can be seen on the week despite the stable resistance, which is a rising wedge, however the second higher low is not THAT high so it's a bit early to call. On the month, there seems to be a series of lower highs, while the current price may be supported at about 261, if we get more confirmation, which would be a falling wedge.
CBAT fren also clarified that for his purpose he's more interested in the crossover. I don't like that because crossover is very lagging and prone to false positives, but whatever. The blue line (fast) goes under the red line (slow) for moving averages on about 09/08 indicating a trend reversal downward. There has not been an upward reversal yet. The MACD is losing velocity in the green, which suggests prices might go back down soon as we may have peaked on the legs.
