Assuming your question is genuine: for me, it’s effectively a bet. At some point, banks will start using crypto to facilitate transactions - it’s simply too superior to the current system to be ignored. XRP is (currently), the front runner to take that business. I’m betting on XRP to maintain that position and succeed in winning the wholesale banking market. With the regulations starting to come in and some genuine real world use (it’s being used currently by an Indian bank to pass payments from their UAE offie back to their head office), now is the time to get in as we’ll soon start to see who the actual winner is (XRP or some other coin).

Given the use case and market leading position, throwing some money at XRP is a no brainier. If at some point another coin takes the lead in that space from XRP, I’ll seek out and move accordingly.

As far as the price - it comes hand in hand with winning the market.

Also (and this is just my opinion, which I know is not going to be shared by anyone), the ‘Market Cap’ is a bit of a nonsense when it comes to crypto as far as I’m concerned. It’s like describing the ‘market cap’ of gold.

That is the entirety of my interest in crypto. I don’t have the time or patience for pump and dumps and the odds on the established names (BTC, ETH) are not attractive enough for me to bet on.

I work in banking. Right now, the only thing that’s been looked at for this is XRP.
As I said - if another contender takes the lead, I’m out. For now though, XRP looks to be the way to go.

I’d note that the systems builds required to do anything in banking are a pain in the ass. Each bank uses different systems, different/bespoke versions of third party systems, etc., and any solution that aims for wide adoption would need to be plugged into all of these different options (which involves working with the individual banks to get the plumbing in place for each of them). One of the main reasons XRP is the ‘leader’ right now is that they’ve been working towards that for years. A new coin isn’t just going to appear out of nowhere - there’ll be work to be done to get it ready. If I get wind of that work, I’ll jump. Right now - there is no challenger that is where XRP is.
