Has anyone noticed- watching coinbase candling- that the system will frequently fill orders below the mid-market price but rarely above, which creates a situation where the price is more likely to fall than rise? Pretty interesting. One might call it market manipulation.

Ok, yeah, I've noticed that too. Whenever you go to fill it fills a cent lower than you ordered and then jumps back up. etherscan, kraken and the coins site usually show coinciding prices, coinbase is almost always different by at least a few cents.
