the only possible viable strategy to change the discursive institutional norms of anon is dilution, I assume, as on /pol/ and /b/, /v/ and /tv/ were really resilient even against the dilution. but the result is a loss in reputation for the environment leading to honest users leaving, data becoming useless and beside destroying what once was useful, the attackers gain nothing, because the honest users just moving on.

So if an external attacker would like to change the user base and institutions on /biz/, for example to shill his specific brand of shitcoin, he would not profit, in fact, he would probably lose

Are you retarded or just playing dumb, I can't tell. All information you would need has been put in this short exchange, you just would need to look at it without your obvious bias. Images are just images, they neither confirm nor disprove anything without additional data. They are just a different form of discourse. What I save is things that are out of place regarding the norms formed over now more than 3 decades, and others younger but who formed organically. What I get is as stated above insides on how institutions form, develop, change and die, and being able to spot of what nature those processes are. On a more holistic level, it helps me to sharpen my ability to predict what happens with a given institutional arrangement. Like I can by now pretty well predict how political institution develop and if that development is stable or unstable

That's interesting - is there anything you found or can share, that you have learnt over the number of years, which was abnormal to the norm?

So apart from 4chan, do you also do this and study other boards?

I've enjoyed your poking and prodding the last week or so personally. As someone who has been browsing this shithole going on 15 years on and off (though unfortunately only found biz last year so still a linklet), it's pretty easy for me to tell who are and aren't anons. There's a decent amount that are just shitposting ironically too, but that usually has a different feel to it than what we've been seeing lately.

Of course I do and did this kind of research also on other places, even went so far to support others to create new environments to be able to observe those from start to not yet finish and inject some of my findings, like how a laissez-fair administration is largely superior to an autocratic when it comes to resilience; forcing users to take more self responsibility makes their norms stronger
>abnormal to the norm
The development of the EU and its institutions post 2008, with an upping in pace post 2015. It wasn't natural and largely influenced by external players with the goal to harm the stability of the arrangement. Another is the Trump US, his election was definitely natural, the attacks and attempts to change are definitely not natural, but anybody should be able to see this.

I guess I'm old enough to see different generations and desu 4chan is the most resilient place on the internet in terms of the norms and standards. I think this
>like how a laissez-fair administration is largely superior to an autocratic when it comes to resilience; forcing users to take more self responsibility makes their norms stronger
Actually explains part of the reason, without strong moderation, the posters here enforce their own unspoken rules. Rules 1 and 2 are barely talked about anymore, and yet everyone knows them. And the power of memetics is infectious.
The only thing that can ever stop this place is true orwellian censorship of the internet. Which may or may not arrive, that is yet to be seen.

Speech always finds ways to survive, not even dilution can change that. Neo Marxist theory is fundamentally flawed
