You are correct. They did not give a time frame. They just said that the technicals are easy but the economics need research, however they are currently hiring these researchers. That team needs to start work then start the project and do this through fucking Zoom. It's not ideal unless it's just a big brain bouncing some ideas off little brains.

Honestly it's probably 2 quarters after arbitrum staking. 6 months should be enough to start grasping the economics around the emergent proofs of concept that will appear with side chains, feeds and possible recursion. If it takes years, it means they are afraid of liability and they're waiting for other projects to attempt similar using LINK and fail before they try. I doubt that will be the case because LINK has been leading this whole time.
