The problem is the tech is so cutting edge they can't understand it or hire anyone who understands it so only nerds like Vitalik and that Uniswap guy end up in control of the major projects who are unironically just in it for the tech. I was reading up on Uniswap guys journey and since everything is so new he had to get help from dozens of people around the world to perfect it. Would be hard for an outsider with different ideals to break in, seems like a tight knit scene.

Not saying it won't happen though but it's not going to be as easy.
