It literally dipped a few hundred points, then the feds went brrr, gave money to all the people who caused the problem in the first place, and the banks (who were giving out reckless loans to dumb niggers who couldn't afford it if interest rates changed) just dumped their bags on the insurance companies. Insurance companies got fuuuucked, but most people didn't feel as much pain as there should have been

The market recovered within a few months
