Forced legislation will always be bad legislation, especially from a supra national level if the germs under there current regime will have it written alone. And unless this is going to be done under old pillar one, which is unfortunately very probable, there is the transition period, translating it into national law, getting it through the national legislative processes and building national administrative bodies doing their thing.
>Last crypto bull run
There we agree, no matter if europe take 4 or 15 years, Russia, the US, India and China don't have that problem, and they have no reason to wait for the grumpy old man. I think we still have 3 more halving cycles before its over (2028 starts the final 10x)
the story for next 2-3 years will be listed companies adding btc to balance-sheet. this will start to reach a fevered pitch when unthinkable names like fb, goog, etc start announcing.
In the wake of this, circa 2024 nation states will start announcing. Will start with tier3 countries which will be ignored, but by the time the tier2 countries start to announce (mexico, brazil etc) it will force tier1's to respond. they will respond by going all out...they wont allow tier2 to jump them so will print trillions upon trillions to gain a sizeable position
By 2030 btc will be around 1m.
This will mature over 2030 decade and btc will eventually get to 5-10m where it will then be forever as a stablecoin making modest 5% gains yearly

Doubt it. This is a global issue that requires quick solutions and cooperation. And guess what? the solutions are out there albeit not perfect. The changes to which society must adapt become somewhat exponential too, that means quicker solutions and implementations. If things surrounding the crypto space progressed at a leisurely pace until now, well that can change. We are in the very early stages of the "new normal". In Europe you see areas like Belarus and Moldova where the stage is being set for future events.

you may want to consider this:
When I started using internet in 1990 it was a joke. The articles in msm said "Is this the cb radio for this generation?"....morning tv shows had segments with laughing announcers saying "who would ever need an EEEEE mail address?"
When linux appeared in 94 it was same story in tech industry. I started LUG in my city in 95 and was told by everyone that no one would depend their biz on it....just so happen the company we started caught on and attracted fomo investors trying to get into internet craze.
by 2000 things changed. I was lucky enough to have made a few million from dotcom company I was part of....by then linux was "accepted". Once IBM got behind the tone changed and it became serious. Then device makers started embedding it in everything and it become everywhere + disappeared simultaneously. The internet itself was same. Disappeared yet became everywhere.

The same developments in the same way are going to happen with btc. I realize this rubs you the wrong way forwhatever reason but I really dont care. I've already made it 2x in my life (first dotcom, second from crypto purchases in 2011). However the same lack of vision seems to occur during every revolution....you think btc is played out, but this is 1999 in the linux/internet timeframe. Its just beyond the joke stage where respectable people hold reasonable opinions on it. Mainstream awareness is just starting. Next decade its going to become everywhere + disappear just like all well adopted technologies.

I can't believe there are anons who won't at least get a suicide stack of XCM, especially now that we know the EU is making moves in crypto regulations
What the fuck is scaring you guys away from Coinmetro? Is it the kyc? The idea of putting your government ID online? The fud on here about it? The fact that the price is still below ico price? The fact that it's centralized (even if you believe in decentralized crypto, why pass up a chance at major gains in a centralized project)?
You can't even call it an outright scam. At worst, Coinmetro is a shitty attempt at a legit regulated exchange which waited too late to fully develop their platform. At worst, if you throw in $4000 at 4 cents XCM now and three years later it's around 2 cents because the exchange is so shit then ok, you lost $2k
But if things go right, and this shit goes to $4 in a few years as expected, you 100x your money. The upside is far greater than the downside
