Anyone here actually staking in UNI pools?

How's the APY?

>> No.22693636

i have some UNI how u do this

>> No.22693668

>>22693636
You don't stake your UNI, you stake ETH and other assets in a liquidity pool to gain UNI.

>> No.22693782

When UNI was around $7, I staked 1 ETH/375 DAI just to see the rate and it only earned 1.7 UNI a week. So that's like 1.6% a week.

I've been farming since the pools opened and it's ok, but not as lucrative as less stable pairs. I'm only making 45ish UNI per week, but I even with a tiny stack like that, if/when it moons again, I'll have something.

>> No.22693985

thats actually pretty good

Pretty meh desu

>> No.22694994

>>22693934
how much did you put in to get 45 UNI/week

>> No.22695063

About $22k. I smelled an opportunity here and went all in.

I think if you're a risk-off person, farming UNI is a really good way to put your bitcoin/eth to work.

However, if you're bullish on ETH and DEFI, the real value play is to just buy UNI, however that's pretty risk-on.

pretty shitty, paid $25 in gas just to get in, will break even in 1 month

>> No.22695120

entered with 1.02 eth/382 DAI

>> No.22695189

Yea im in with about 12k, had a lot of it in bzrx but obv that was a nightmare with the bug and funds getting locked for a few days but figure uni is a lot simpler and safer code.

>> No.22695204

>>22695120
no shit its going to suck, you need atleast 10 eth to make farming worth it

>> No.22695230

>>22695120
why would u enter with that amount when gas fees are $25, is ur break even point even factoring fees to pull it all out.

>> No.22695410

How much is 7 eth per week?

>> No.22695415

>>22695092
That's the worst thing about yield farming. The fees are killer.

What I earned in UNI, I lost in IL Back to square one, may as well buy it

pretty /cosy to be pooling while the market tanks

>> No.22696923

>>22696847
yeah i am almost all in pooling wbtc/eth and get 70+ UNI a week. Just stay in the pool for 6 months atleast and hopefully your UNI stack will be worth much more. And once they let UNI holders get the fees you can earn serious passive income if the bull run continues.

>> No.22697024

>>22696923
nice anon, whats the benefit of holding wbtc to eth I was thinking this originally but figured it would be safer to go with USDC... I would unpool if I it 2xd taking a 6% impermanent loss (fees should cover that). I was think wBTC and ETH is more bullish but quite volatile

big brain moment
you will never recoup your gas fees lmfao

>> No.22697279

Can retards stop fucking announcing how much they get a week without saying how much they put in? I'm literally seething and fuming

>> No.22697306

Just wait till they liquidate you.

>> No.22697328

>>22697258
LMAO

>> No.22697448

7ETH in total?

It's around 3UNI/week, maybe a bit more depending on the total liquidity.

>>22697024
Well if you're planning to pool for longer term (which you should), then BTC and ETH are much more correlated than ETH and stablecoins. Basically the question is what is more likely in the long term, ETH pumping/dumping significantly in $ price or BTC price?

>> No.22697449

What if you wanna leave the pool? are there any extra fees?

Each pool is different anon I'd also like to know the rates not found anything useful I can tell you that ETH:USDC pays ~0.65UNI per 1ETH investment (i.e 0.5 ETH : 0.5eth worth of USDC). I think DAI returns more would like to know the rate of wBTC. Not touching Tether

There is a simple calculator on leddit if you're too lazy to do the calculations yourself. Although you can: look up the weekly rewards in UNI (x), total liquidity in the pool (y) and your investment (a). Then the formula is very simple, a/y * x
