Real yields are deeply negative, and can never go positive again. The bankers tried to let yields go even to a nominal 3% in late 2018, it crashed the market. Q. E. had to start again. The U. S. is caught in a debt-trap from which there is no escape. The Fed will soon be monetizing literally everything. Gold has been soaring since then and central banks have been hoarding it as never before. China is dumping treasuries and buying as many commodities as it can get. When the system collapses people will go to PMs as one of the only safe havens remaining. Bond market market cap is 100+ trillion, annual investable silver supply = only 2.5 billion; as fiat crashes towards zero, silver could revert to its inflation-adjusted $600 ATH, or even go higher, and mining stocks could go up 1000s of times.

The ETFs (GDX/SIL, SILJ/GDXJ) will insulate you from all risk, although their upside is more limited. As for the real junior small-caps, research the companies on ceo.ca, which is where all the mining insiders congregate, and study what experienced investors like Sprott are doing. (Picture related is his portfolio: I highly recommend Dolly Varden and Silver One, which are in it). They are the sort of stocks which will go to zero if silver doesn't soar, but which really will go 150x if we get a true PM bull market.

Seems like decent advice.
I'm curious though, why are you so bearish on Chainlink specifically? I mean, I think you're right that people should have PM exposure and that miners will do well, but why would you think that Link is going to zero?

>> No.22689060

>>22688950

I believe that all or most crypto is going to zero when the reset happens; I simply think it's pointless trying to guess which coin may or may not succeed, and see Chainlink as particularly useless. I saw how it behaved here for three years, and it was obvious why it rose recently, i. e. because of the short squeeze on Zeus Capital. The meme magic of 3 years then worked its way through the internet, and people started to think "Oh no, 4chan has been right all along, it wasn't only a meme, I have to get in now." You could see that euphoria and enthusiasm was carrying it up, nothing had fundamentally changed.

4chan was an important part of getting Trump elected. If you don't understand that a firm base of strong hands + three years of "never selling" memes + three years of "Link is going to $1000" fud isn't enough to pump to a coin, then you don't understand the influence which this website has.

And as a recent proof of that, look at the money-printer meme. Some random person here posted it in /smg/, and now everybody on the internet is shouting "brr." Nobody knows where it came from, but, doesn't matter, it has now influenced tens of millions of people.

if anything will remain valuable after the reset will be cryptos, which are not directly connected to the central bank system.

>> No.22689607

Also,
>nothing had fundamentally changed.
This is why it would be stupid to say its going to 0 or its worthless now, the fundamentals are what got it to where it was. Again though if you think Trump got elected and LINK became a billion dollar asset because of memes you're hopeless, the memes follow they don't lead.

>> No.22689827

>>22689534

You've got it the wrong way round. Cryptos are manipulated upwards, with tether-printing and moonboy hype. So, when the dollar falls, crypto will go to zero. PMs are suppressed with fiat; so, when physical supply overwhelms demand, because fiat is falling, the COMEX will officially default, and PMs will reach true price-discovery and soar to unimaginable heights.

cryptos had value even before tether printing. Why are you saying crypto will go to 0 when fiat currency decline?
what makes gold different from BTC as a medium of exchange (or even a store of value) in the absence of fiat currency?
except for the fact that your gold could be seized by the government in the blink of an eye.

>> No.22690878

BTC had everything that was necessary for the greatest bubble of all time. The dream was that it could become the new world currency. So the potential market cap was as high as that of gold (10 trillion) or even higher. In the mean-time, gold and silver were being manipulated downwards, so they were uninteresting; but people still expected the fiat ponzi-scheme to collapse. The $100 transaction-fees and 3-day waiting-times put an end to the BTC dream, and the bubble popped. People gave BTC a chance, and it failed. ETH is just as bad at functioning as a currency, and every other crypto is simply attempting to replicate the BTC success-story. Crypto is a dead market now. Simply kept up by the dreams of moonboys and the tether printing-machine. It's all about scamming people out of their money. Meanwhile, nations are buying PMs and commodities as fast as they can, even Buffett is purchasing miners, and the COMEX manipulation is on the verge of breaking for good.

The argument wasn't that the pump was uncalled for, it was that link is going to 0. Link's marketcap is still 2 billion at 5 dollars, and its been hovering between 1.50 and 5 for over a year now before this pump. Yes, the recent pump was mostly hype and speculation, and whales are swallowing that like they always do with crypto.

Here's the issue with selling. If you time it well, you can win big. You can double a 1k stack to 2k. A 2k to 4k. A 4k to 8k, 20k to 40k etc. It's extremely lucrative. But if you time it poorly, you're fucked, and if you fuck up once, you can't get a do-over unless you're already rich and this is just play money to you.
If you understand TA, how to read charts, how to DCA in and out, you can for the most part manage the risk and successfully swing. Most people here do not know how to do this, and would fail miserably if they tried. You also create taxable events every time you swing.
Use your best judgment, but any anon that bought and held for 3 years is up massively, and the gains they'd have from swinging (unless they always timed it perfectly) are negligible. Do take profits if you really need to feel more comfortable with your investment.
