Is there 1 single reason I shouldn't deposit my entire savings account ($50k USD) into USDC-USDT uniswap pool for 22% APR? With 2 stablecoins theres no risk of impermanent loss.

My bank is giving me 0.01% interest. This would literally be 2200x more money than my current savings account.

You know the answer and you expect us to validate your findings?

Unironically do it

theres only $5m liquidity on this pool, im wondering why not every single person with a bank account dumps all of their USD into this?

surely im missing something, unless the argument is that USDT/USDC could go bust or uniswap could exit scam.
Why does a single person on /biz/ have any fiat in a bank account when this exists?

There's literally no reason why you shouldn't.

And that’s when you’ll lose everything when SEC kicks in.

How fucked would you be if the smart contracts were to be drained tomorrow?

If you'd be ready to rope, maybe put a large chunk in but don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

Daily Reminder: The DAO was also audited. It then went on to completely melt down. Smart contracts are not impervious to failure.

Slowish to access is the reason I didn't go this route.

If a firesale happens, or something else funky in crypto you'll likely have to pay huge gas to get your money out. Not super likely, but there is additional risk

How can uniswap exit scam? Isnt the whole point of a DEX is so that cant happen?

>> No.22676798

Yeah i thought about curve, the 30d ROI is 0.28% for Curve Y, their main stablecoin pool.
Whereas for this uni pool its 1.87% 30d ROI, over 6x more

>>22676798
and by curve y i of course mean curve y stable (
yDAI (3.2%)

yUSDC (25.4%)

yUSDT (44.3%)

yTUSD (27.1%))

yea what he said curve is better and will eat uniswap's stablecoin pairs once the market is more informed. if you want passive gains look up where to stick your money in the yfi vault.
i own 0.06% of the usdc/dai pool and have made $66 in a little under two months but there are better places to look for return that uniswap stablecoin pairs.

>curve is better
in what way exactly anon? the ROI on unis pool is 6x higher than the stablecoin curve one

You may be on to something, anon. Let me know what you send up doing.

better for the person exchanging. not the liquidity provider.
The yfi/curve stuff is a bit convoluted though. I don't understand it completely. I think you're supposed to lock your stablecoins, get Ystablecoin, and then lock that too. Go through the documentation and then let me know I might stick some in there too
