TRND discussion thread.

Any of you guys using it? Do you find it useful? I just started using the dapp and I'm still unsure what to think about it...

A lot of shit to sift through but one of the better assets in the defi space. With AIM around the corner, it’ll blow up for sure.

>> No.22658498

came across this as well - wondering if people actually use it

>> No.22658564

>>22658485
Could you plz elaborate a bit? what is the shit to sift through, and why do you think it will be a good product long term?

One thing that I don't understand personally is how can AIM work better than tools which already exist, such as Yearn. Is the difference in the fact that Yearn and similar protocols basically only lend coins, but TRND AIM will also trade the coins?

>> No.22659175

>>22658564
Yes AIM will ultimately do things like move holding into USD pending a downturn in the market. The shit that needs sifting through at the moment is just the plethora of shitcoins that get listed on a regular basis and the Private group like to discuss their potentials and whether to buy in or pass on it etc

you will make alot of money.

>>22659175
If they also trade then that implies you can lose all your money on a mistake.
The beauty of yearn is that because it only does collateralized lending at large health factors, worst case scenario you lose funds if Aave or a lending platform actually gets hacked.
The risk of losing funds with AIM is much higher.

And will it be possible to see which moves the AIM is making at each time?

In the meantime, how is the dapp working, which useful information for trading can it give you?

>> No.22659820

>>22659291
not necessarily. Just because the risk of total loss is there doesn't mean the trades will actually be good.

This coin is a simple IQ test. If you are dumb enough to believe that some anonymous leet dude is going to give you a magical bot that makes money trading, you deserve to the inevitable rug pull.

>a magical bot that makes money trading

That part worries me too, it does kind of seem too good to be true. But I got free monies from UNI, so I'm thinking of exploring this out of curiosity.

>rugpull
Have you checked the holders distribution anon? It would be a difficult (or at least very slow) rugpull

I also don't really understand how xTrend is awarded...One way is staking, but if I don't stake, do I still get some xTrend automatically periodically?

I believed in C and the project in early August, why? As a lone wolf, he works hard on TRND, brings something to the project all the time. I look forward to AIM and I know it will deliver it in its best shape. Rugg pull is not an option here. He is a fanatic and programming enthusiast.

Fuck your FUD hard

Invest in more yfi clones with bots on telegram, you will be satisfied.

>> No.22662349

>>22662170
But isn't it worrisome that he's a one man team basically?

I am very conflicted about this project, on one hand it seems like an interesting idea and I can see that the dev is very diligent and in constant communication with the community, but on the other hand there are some red flags too. In addition to what I mentioned, the AIM seems a bit too good to be true, so some explanation of how it works would be nice.

Look at it from a different angle. As a lonely developer, C is able to control what he creates for us. You don't listen to anyone, you don't argue with anyone about ideas. It has its own, and that's enough for me. Regarding AIM, I'll write you honestly as a hodler. I expect lower returns at the beginning, because such a product will need improvement and reaching 120% per week is in my opinion December 2020. However, it is worth having access now, because the information you get on private chat is very helpful in being an early investor.

Regards, anon

>> No.22662851

Coin is based but the chat is full of scammers. One of the admins has launched couple coins of his own and used bots/secret chats to accumulate before presale and then dump on buyers.

I believe the cleansing of the community will also come.AIM will result in fewer people using the chat, so it will be less popular for scammers

Without Trendering, I wouldn't have gotten $2 bast, wouldn't have known about the wage.money presale, and wouldn't have bought $5 sTLP, just to name a few moonshots.

Oh ok, thanks for the info

>> No.22663968

I’ve used the dapp to mind multiple moonshots early. I’ll give a few examples. I found PRINT with TRND when it had 10 members in the group and because of that got into presale. I got into RUG presale which turned my 1 eth into 14 and WAGE presale which turned my 1 eth into 17. I found DFT early with TRND at $1 and it went to $30. I found Ymen when there was only 15 or so members and got in early. I found YFV early and bought in at $5 before it blew up. I found Spider early at $2 and made profit. Etc etc. the dapp is very useful too ME at least and that’s all that matters imo. It’s been the best investment I’ve made and because of that I’ve accumulated a lot of trnd as I believe in the project.

Just a question for you guys who used it successfully - how did you use the dapp for that? I'm starting to use it but honestly have no idea how to find useful information there...

>> No.22664326

>>22664235
I prefer the Mainnet dapp, find new projects before they have liquidity, so I can take the time to research. Sometimes I check the Uniswap listings too, but it's the combination of the private tg and the dapp that is golden.

woah its a TRND thread on biz. rare sighting

>> No.22664393

>>22664235
I’ve gotten this question a lot so I’ll break it down a bit.

First I look for coins with low holders with a verified contract. I search for a TG, website, medium, anything I can find about them to start. Once I get a hold of the TG I look at the website. Read the website, if it’s offering stuff too good to be true like (APY 100000%) etc it’s most likely a scam. Read the white paper a bit, see if it makes sense. Try to find the team. See when the website domain was created etc. You gotta piece the puzzle together yourself. Talk with the team a bit and get an understanding of the project. Check the code out in the contract (you can search up anti scam token on YouTube, they have great material for you to learn.) Once you get a solid feeling of the coin then invest however amount you want to risk. People don’t realize you gotta put in a bit of work to get a good payout. And all of this stuff I can easily do now in 10-30 minutes or so since it’s gotten easier for me.
