Advice needed.

Overall I put $460 of my own money in chainlink. Chainlink dumped this entire month and I kept buying. Uniswap came and I converted 90% of my LINK to UNI when UNI was $5.80.

When UNI hit $8 I was once again in the profit margin and had $528 dollars in my portfolio. Now that UNI is $5 my portfolio is $390 which puts me at a loss.

I don't know if UNI or LINK is going up and I don't know how to move forward now. What would you do if you were me?

Anon it depends on how much that $460 mean to you. Me personally $460 is fuck all, so I would go for high risk low market cap coin with a good team behind it. Think about it, for LINK to x2, it will require about $3.5b, while a low mcap coin may only need 5-10m to give the same return. Obviously both scenarios are still not as easy as they may seem, but you get the point.

TLDR; If you would feel depressed losing your $500, stick to large mcap. Otherwise go for low mcap coins.

Never sell anything at a loss. Don’t do it. It’s not real money lost until you sell.
If you can’t handle volatility then just stop checking the price every 5 minutes.
Just buy some shit and hodl on a timescale measure in years rather than weeks.
Just budget enough money to buy a little every month. Treat investments like a savings account. Automating the process helps remove emotion from the equation.
