Newfag here. Bought a couple small amounts of shitcoins. What’s the best way to buy stuff like STA from fiat without getting railed on transaction fees? Just yesterday I paid like $10 to put my Ethereum through Uniswap. Is there a best coin to use as a medium?

if it's <100 on fast you can trade, if it's above you can't, simple as that, take a walk.
Manual gas settings ALWAYS, put the value from gasstation on fast +1 or 2, if it's a high gain trade for you go ham +50/100, I personally add a few hundreds more gwei if I know others will want to take that deal.
