Coinbase has some of the highest fees but is arguably the safest one.
Just buy Bitcoin if you don't want to deal with headaches. Use dollar-cost-average strategy, which means you just do regular purchases (every week or month or whatever) regardless of the price of the coin instead of dumping all your money into it in one shot. DCA will reduce the volatility of your purchases throughout the year and it's proven to be much more effective than trying to time the market. This way you don't spend 100% of your yearly investment fund on a purchase only for it to crash 3 months later to 1/3rd its value.

Wtf is that thing?

If you're in the US, probably start with coinbase pro. Just to buy btc or eth with USD. If you're just going to buy and hold top coins you don't have to do anything beyond that.

First learn chart, basic TA, risk management, and get rid of emotions. Start from trading on testiest and when you feel confident start trading with real money. You don't want to enter rekt city. Also, have your own bias and don't follow others TA or some YT advice as this will defo get you rekt soon

If you can't treat paper trading seriously due to it not being real money, deposit a small amount to get your feet wet a bit.

Also: don't get greedy, have a entry point and take profit point.

Fuck, there is a lot of things that comes into trading crypto lmao. Just don't want new people to get rekt my fren. Start with watching some Stock heads YT videos regarding how to behave in markets as they are more serious than Crypto fomo chasing crackheads.

1. Get a liquidity provider. If you're in the states then Binance is fine. I use Bitbuy as a Canadian.
2. Get a wallet you actually own the private keys to. I use Metamask
3. Turn fiat into some form of crypto using your provider, ETH is standard since it's the management token for the ethereum blockchain that shitcoins are developed for.
4. Hook your Metamask up to a DEX like Uniswap that can transact a far wider variety of tokens and blockchain instrument types than centralized

From there you can use Binance to trade and hold common as you see fit using standard financial instruments, and move holds to your Metamask for safe storage or to trade the full variety of tokens through Uniswap. At this stage you've more or less got full access to crypto.
