Look at Unity for example, the engine is actually pretty damn good and highly user friendly. The problem is 90% of unity games are trash because it's easy to build stuff in, resulting in it's reputation and logo being so tightly connected to garbage they actually charge people royalties effectively to remove it from launch screens of the titles built on unity.

Uniswap is actively profiting off literal scams, eventually it will garner the same kind of reputation and loose traffic to someone more selective.
