really wanting to hit 50k - 100k but I don't like the way it hasn't recovered compared to other coins. it's a long term hold for me, end of September should be big, if we don't see a price bump I'll get a little worried.

I don't think most people care, they're looking for a quick turn around.

I hold around 30k, majority bought at 2-3c. Considering topping up to get to 50k, have a lot of belief in ADA's future.
Gougen, ERC-20 converter, their DeFi views and the funding pot for Devs makes me hard

I truly believe in Cardano, don't really care about (ponzi) hype because in the end it's substance that makes all competition obsolete. We have to remember we are still in an early phase of blockchain technology and these uniswap p'n'd coins won't always be a profitable and commonplace in the future. The way I see it is that Bitcoin was the invention, Ethereum the explorer of opportunites and Cardano zoomed in on what worked during that experimentation and applied the best of it. CH knows first-hand the fallibilites and successes of Ethereum, being a co-founder and all. Now all they need is Goguen and marketing. I wouldn't be surprised if CH would be invited to speak on Lex Fridman's or Joe Rogan's show this or next year.

Got 32K ADA and 3.4k ERG. Get some ERG for more upside potential. DEX coming December and interoperable with ADA. Basically an experimental chain trying out all sorts of new ideas. Whatever is succesful there will be implemented onto Cardano. So far they've implemeted oracle pools - a far superior technology to standard oracles (i.e Chainlink) because it's more trustless and no token. This questions the need for the oracle token - why couldn't an oracle be built into the blockchain itself and why rely on a centrazlied trust of a company (like Chainlink)? PoW that mitigates the mining centralization problem by making it impossible to make joint mining pools and is also not processing speed dependent (all GPUs mine at the same pace). On top on so much more. It's still damn early for this one, it's not even on any major exchanges yet.

+1 on ERG. MY bags are loaded. No body knows about this project yet.

Damn, there's still people holding ADA on /biz/? I hadn't thought so because discussion had kinda vanished. Surprising to see that /biz/pool has 5 blocks mined now.

>> No.22603572

I only have 5k, basically sits in a bag of "meh"; if it does something, great, if not oh well.

They are also collaborating on an algorithmic stable-coin. This means it's not collateralized with any assets or fiat. In CH's own words it will better than Dai, so we'll see. Fiat collateralized stable-coins (Tether, bye bye) is likely to become illegal.

And please to anyone who's under the impression that Cardano is led by a soiboy, you've been scammed by /biz/. Go watch his vids on youtube and decide on your own. He's a classic libertarian who wants individual autonomy.
Also here are some breadcrumbs for those who still think Cardano is a shit project (don't believe biz on this):
