that's because in this industry, everything is forecasted for the next 3 years at least because shit takes awhile to develop/build. AMD is priced in for the next 3 years to dominate Intel because Intel fucked up so badly. It isn't just server market share that Intel is losing, there are a cascade of things that are expiring soon but Intel does not have 7nm ready as those contracts were expecting (e.g. Aurora supercomputer) and they're all going slip from intel.
Don't let the inflated PE ratio fool you because they're still growing much faster than NVDA who has a lower PE ratio.

that said I don't have a position in AMD right now, but I'm definitely considering AMD/TSM/NVDA once shit cools down after I take profits from GME.

Hi retard here, I have an options trading strategy I'm researching where I allow for 50% loss but cash out at 20% profit and from my limited data points (20) it returned 14% since April. However reading the charts many of these contracts have blown well past 20%, sometimes over 100%, and I can't help but wonder if there's more to life.
So I've been at this with a half-assed spreadsheet and thinkorswim for the last hour and I plan to check other tolerances tomorrow and my question is should I scrap the upper limit and just use like a 40-50% trailing stop?

You need to understand the tax consequences of MLP distributions before you invest - MMP does not pay a traditional dividend. You will get a K1 at the end of every year and you will be able to write off your distribution against your cost basis (meaning your gains are tax free for about 7 years assuming they do not increase their distribution.) Your taxes will become more complicated.

I would put all $3,000 into MMP but then again I don't know a lot about MSFT.

As for oil, MMP is a midstream pipeline company and in theory their business isn't super vulnerable to price fluctuations in oil. But, markets are pretty sour on energy sector companies and the low equity price would affect their ability to access credit should they ever need it. Having said that, their management is being extremely conservative with their money. It's an extremely well run fee based company with very low overhead.

Her femoral artery opened up, we held pressure, got her stable, but she ultimately had a stroke and passed days later.
