>AMD is a straight meme, good company but it’s worth about $30b, definitely not a $90b Company
that's because in this industry, everything is forecasted for the next 3 years at least because shit takes awhile to develop/build. AMD is priced in for the next 3 years to dominate Intel because Intel fucked up so badly. It isn't just server market share that Intel is losing, there are a cascade of things that are expiring soon but Intel does not have 7nm ready as those contracts were expecting (e.g. Aurora supercomputer) and they're all going slip from intel.
Don't let the inflated PE ratio fool you because they're still growing much faster than NVDA who has a lower PE ratio.

that said I don't have a position in AMD right now, but I'm definitely considering AMD/TSM/NVDA once shit cools down after I take profits from GME.

Cohen doing ANYTHING with gamestop. I don't understand how short sellers can sleep at night when Cohen would just suddenly announce an SEC filing showing he owns 20% of the float now. More likely Cohen's lawyer must be negotiating a tender offer with the board or something similar to that, which would explain why he's been hesitant to go over 10% of shares owned right now until he's more certain.
or another whale could file a schedule 13D next week. If any whale has gone past 5% recently, they have 10 days to file with SEC. That's going to make some shorts panic cover when they realize the tiny float is even smaller.

How do zombie ETFs react with a short squeeze anyways? Do they liquidate and take profits or just move with rest of the market?

The alternatives are better, Flaxseed, Chia, Almonds and Hemp. All provide the best of what meat has with none of the negatives like saturated fat or cholesterol.

I'm just staying away from meat, not because of the animal welfare BS. The meat alternatives are just better imo from a nutrional fact pov. Tastes the same as well at least from what I've tried.

go learn your basics for US market.

If Cohen changes his shares by 1%, he has to file within 2 days, so that could be your signal to bail out. Though honestly at this point, I think the momentum can keep going just with the double console release alone. Cohen bailing out at this point would be worrying, but I'm planning to take profits by Q4 maybe Q1 2021 at latest unless something else happens.

As the prices go higher, more shorts will have to cover resulting in a rise in price. If the pump is significant enough, it could happen literally happen any day on no news. Did you look at their earnings report/call? They did fantastic leading into a new console cycle. I'm not gonna tell you its gonna go to $100 or some shit, but look at kodak for example as another stock with a ton of shorts. It routinely pumps in price causing shorts to cover and the balloon in price; just look at the price movement today. As a note this pic is NOT me. The person this belongs to purchased all these calls 3 months ago at around $4 and look at where they are now. This train is picking up steam and ready to leave the station. Weimar germany showed us that hard times bring good men. i think they want a nice happy joyride to muttification. Lest the npc's resist. Not to speak for companies themselves but for the system, they rule it and they ultimately decide. Or maybe they fuck up because of greed, thats a preferable option, not for finance but future instead of (((future)))

Honestly it’s why I began investing and swing trading

If I can come to about 50% of my wage I’m gladly fucking off and letting the boomers lie in the beds they have made.

The amount of expenses we do for older people, who have almost no chance to live, is astounding.

We recently started doing TAVR (heart valve replacement through vein). Costs a solid 300-500k per procedure with a 25% chance of death in a year. That’s like investing 500k and 25% chance of total loss. We can’t crank them out fast enough on boomers of all size and poor health they are lining up around the block even coming from out of state. All paid for by Medicare.

One thing I notice about this board is it's so consistently anti-dividend. I understand "study after study" tell you that growth outperforms dividend stocks, but I don't understand how you can turn your nose up at companies like XOM that offer you almost 10% just to hold on. I get it, oil is risky, but my point is that some of these dividend stocks are offering absolutely ridiculous rates of return you'd be lucky to get over time in literally any other investment.

Meh I’m happy to just swing trade tqqq and sqqq no matter what I’m making some money and so far I’m doing well with my small $5000 in/out experiment.

If I can do well for a couple months I’ll up my position, then keep upping it each couple months as I gain confidence.

I get there will be dumps and (((taxes))) for doing it this way but I’d rather turn lifestyle down a bit and get out then keep doing what I feel is not moral.

So far I’m up 35% just swing trading tqqq/sqqq off my 5000 in Teo weeks. I get we had a huge dump etc etc but I’m happy to keep that going. I have about 100k if I simply swing that, and net let’s say 3% a week which would only be a 1% swing in qqq I could be comfy off 3k a week.

Hi retard here, I have an options trading strategy I'm researching where I allow for 50% loss but cash out at 20% profit and from my limited data points (20) it returned 14% since April. However reading the charts many of these contracts have blown well past 20%, sometimes over 100%, and I can't help but wonder if there's more to life.
So I've been at this with a half-assed spreadsheet and thinkorswim for the last hour and I plan to check other tolerances tomorrow and my question is should I scrap the upper limit and just use like a 40-50% trailing stop?
Also tips on any retard traps to look out for doing the math on this thx.

this analysis is retarded, they are invested 500k with 25% chance of dying so it doesn't matter or 75% of living.

It’s still work each night you map support resistance on qqq where to buy tqqq and sqqq stops etc etc. it’s not work in the traditional sense but it still is.

I also have a few rentals for steady income as well so I do have that as my steady stream. That alone covers my expenses. Yes it has risk as well by im about 35% equity positive and cash flowing well on those.

welcome to the eternal question of trend trading vs. scalping. the answer is you either suffer a lot of small losses but then get one huge win, or you get a lot of small wins but you never get a big win. scalping is still probably better though, as it is more consistent. if you miss those 1 or 2 big trends your risk structure gets thrown out of the window since you need those really badly to make up for all of the small losses you take waiting for "the big one".

Holy fuck, someone else talking about MMP than me on this board? Proud of you nigga.

MMP is yielding fucking 11.14% partnership distribution. That is an insane level of return on your investment. And the balance sheet is ROCK solid. That 1k invested will serve you very well.

You need to understand the tax consequences of MLP distributions before you invest - MMP does not pay a traditional dividend. You will get a K1 at the end of every year and you will be able to write off your distribution against your cost basis (meaning your gains are tax free for about 7 years assuming they do not increase their distribution.) Your taxes will become more complicated.

I would put all $3,000 into MMP but then again I don't know a lot about MSFT.

Yeah if it's $1,000 I might advise you to just hold off, as much as I love MMP. I'm a former tax accountant who manually fills out my 1040 every year so I don't really give a fuck about the K-1, but if it's the $100/year distribution is going to get eaten by some kike tax accountant it ain't worth it bud.

Not sure how it works in the context of a roth LOL

As for oil, MMP is a midstream pipeline company and in theory their business isn't super vulnerable to price fluctuations in oil. But, markets are pretty sour on energy sector companies and the low equity price would affect their ability to access credit should they ever need it. Having said that, their management is being extremely conservative with their money. It's an extremely well run fee based company with very low overhead.

That's right - the "quadruple witching" that I've heard about. Interesting times.

>Increased volatility
What did they mean by this?

No, look at the market cap. This is a 2B+ buyout candidate or partnership. The current market cap is a fucking joke. This is the rare one you should chase and go long.

Low GEX correlates with high volatility and market makers are betting more on puts than calls. Compare the GEX today to GEX during the March crash. I barely understand this, but some Googling around can reveal some interesting info.

Everyone is different depends on how shitty the boomer anatomy is or how calcified their vascular tissue is from years of abuse.

Typically it’s femoral, radial approach is secondary, subclavian in third approach, last option is between ribs and through the apex (tip) of the heart.

It has gotten better over the last year or so, but trust me when I say the risk isn’t worth it. They patient more often then not ends up bleeding heavily in recovery from something as simple as a sneeze or (not kidding) I had a lady die due to a violent fart. She farted and lifted her leg a bit. All of them have to be on a lot of blood thinners during the case. Her femoral artery opened up, we held pressure, got her stable, but she ultimately had a stroke and passed days later.

If a fart can kill you, it’s too risky.
