Are you really this lazy? Did you follow the transfers? They have been doing this for a while now and they 100% do not go to exchanges. They end up in an intermediary wallet and are split up into small payments and distributed to unique wallets. Not all of the 500k gets disbursed--- leftover LINK goes back to the dev wallet. I would say it's unclear what those unique address are that are getting LINK, but if you follow the earlier 500k movements, many of those wallets are recognized and listed as aggregators in Etherscan. In every 500k movement, once you get the the final small payment disbursement wallet and click a few pages in, you start to see that some of the addresses receiving the LINK are aggregators for different trading pairs.

The payments are for aggregators, and don't end up at exchanges. It's very likely this is Chainlink either preparing nodes for staking by subsidizing the existing ones, or they're node payments, or they're OTC purchases of LINK by aggregators.

Chances are, btw, that all those recipient addresses are aggregators but only some are recognized and listed as such by etherscan. It's possible there are more new aggregators that haven't been labeled as such in Etherscan, or it's existing aggregators holding several wallets, some of which are recognized as belonging to them and others unrecognized.
