Why do you think the financial institutions and banks trialing/using it would want it to rise in price when the regulations to fully implement it, or the network strength needed to use it to its full potential aren't in place yet? I could imagine that they hardly give a shit about retail speculators. Any major bank in the world could buy up the entirety of XRP with less than 5% of their total assets right now. The money at play right now is small-time to them.
