8000k are you fucking nuts, no. You can buy a great setup for 2k. After that it's punishing diminishing returns. You don't need a fucking Lapua. Even if you have the money it's just the status of it. Lapua, oh wow look at you. Howa makes good rifles, Nikon for glass. Plenty others. You don't need the designer brands.

6.5 Creedmor, hands down. This will carry beyond a distance that you'll ever be able to control anyways. Once you get to Lapua/50 you're dealing with distances that are ridiculous.

For roughly $1k you can get chassis and barrel for a HOWA that shoots 65 creedmoor. Put a good scope on it and your accuracy is practically guaranteed up to 1000 yards
