Is learning SALESFORCE administration or analysis a MEME? They pay quite good where I am and it seems very easy...

imagine creating a job ceneterd around learning how to use a SAAS platform
if you take the job, immediately start looking for a new one, using that job as a stepping stone is your best bet. salesforce is cancer

allegedly a sf certification adds $20k to your resume

SF comes in many forms, i've used it in a few places and its easy to use. I can't imagine it's that difficult to use as an admin.

>> No.22524019

Depends on the place. Working with any large dataset can be cumbersome, so if it's at a place with 10k+ employees then hell no but if it's a smaller company then sure.

The people I know that work with Salesforce, sell their time as integrators.

Requires you to bridge business processes into Salesforce and optimize work flows.

You can charge 100+ bucks an hour if you're good.

how is it possible? I was going to join police and my friend laughed at me, told me how much he was doing being a salesforce admin and how easy it is... he sent me the trailhead tutorials and... fuck he is right

>> No.22524495

I mean... I want to be a police officer but how is it possible to make as much as he makes just knowing how to use this software

Now I'm doubting because I also realize if it's so easy pajeets will do it for free soon

To integrate a product like Salesforce, it requires you to know the Salesforce product inside out, and requires you to understand business processes.

That is no small task.

It's highly specialized and therefore commands a higher pay.

Yes its worth it, no its not easy with mutiple teams managing permissions and a grip of integrations that all do different shit and SF UI and backend is a fucking shitshow. I can completely understand why people get trained specifically in this shit.

>t. Worked directly with a SF consultant that we ditched because of covid so me and this other chick are stuck fucking with it.
