So anyone using ANY layer2 shit on Eth?
I've considered,
OMG Network
>impossible to use, no adoption, only cuts tx cost by 1/3rd
xDAI
>literally a sidechain like blockstream's liquid, no users, no liquidity, swapping dai to xdai still costs a fortune, and nobody's gonna do that
Raiden network
>Lightning network except nobody will use it, metamask can't show your wallet balance, ever, so it's worthless

is there a better alternative? Something that isn't cancerous as fuck, and that makes transactions (I'm talking regular transactions) affordable? On Eth.

You’re looking for layer 2 channels on Quant’s Overledger Network. Already tested by the community. Launches once the blockchain connectors have been successfully tested, which should start this week.

isn't that a permissioned system where I'd have to pay Quant in fiat per month? I'm not fucking Oracle, man.

The Overledger Network is hyper decentralised. Will likely vastly exceed the number of Ethereum nodes since most Ethereum nodes can host a Quant gateway with a minimal overhead anyway.

Fiat is the enterprise method for payment because they don’t want to touch crypto. Fags and the community will pay in crypto via Ethereum smart contracts. A developer licence is $99 (in crypto equivalent) which isn’t a lot.

That might be the case, but I've no way of confirming it. Their website is completely built toward "contact us and we'll discuss pricing".
Can't even find any docs, and their github is practically dead.

No docs, no guides, no nothing. Just an exchange requires an account. Either it isn't ready, or they're making it for themselves.

Lition
>a layer which makes businesses with their blockchains GDPR compliant with low gas fees (pegged at 0,01$) and public-private blockchain features. Data is deletable from the chain without destorying the blockchain. Its basically a state and business approved monero.

When their OVN launches soon then all should become clear.

Like I said, the community, including myself, have successfully tested the layer 2 part, so we know it works.
