Tilt is tilt. Stop gambling.

>> No.22496555

>>22496440
it's easy to avoid tilt if you have a systemic method of trading that you follow robotically. that's kind of the whole purpose behind testing the fuck out of shit. back testing, forward testing, running strategies through fuckloads of historical data and taking statistical data on it, optimizing it, starting with small amounts of money and slowly increasing your risk tolerance as you see your strategy work in real time, etc.

surprisingly simple really, but 9 out of 10 people fail at it. it's fascinating how the biggest reason why people fail in trading has nothing to do with how they trade. most trading systems with proper risk management can be successfully profitable in the long run, plenty of options. it's when people fuck up the psychology and inevitably take on far more risk than they should that they blow up their account.

jared from live traders has a "when will the insanity stop?" segment in most of his recent videos for example, which all detail examples of his students who royally fucked up and emailed him about it, if anyone is interested in checking that out.

Read the Holy Bible friend. You may have multiple issues that I am not aware of but there is still the gift of eternal salvation that comes to those who believe in Jesus Christ who was crucified, died, and 3 days laters rose from the grave conquering sin and death. Be saved by believing in Him. Perhaps some of your physical and mental ailments will go away by beliving and trusting in Him. Remember you can't take the earthly wealth with you when you die so don't worry too much about it. Yeah I know it sucks to lose out on a lot but well just move on, it might come back in memory from time to time but stay strong friend, don't commit suicide.

I had been selling spreads for a tidy hundred or two hundred bucks a week for over a month until the rug got pulled on tech a couple weeks ago. It wouldn't have been so bad because at the time I was down 500 on apple spreads instead of cutting my losses I doubled down thinking (it's already down 4% today, it can't get worse right?), nope it kept going down. I turned a 30k account into 26.5k in about 30 minutes. I am slowly grinding my way back but I have learned my lesson and the shit is frustrating.

I would also be uncomfortable holding all that tech exclusively and open small positions in stocks I expect to do well upon vaccine news. I like BKNG specifically but that is a little expensive.

nuclear is awsome. the PR is telling the truth. one too many movies with glowing green rusry 55gal barrels and killer lizards. in reality what can't be recycled is cast into glass cubes stable for thousands of years and stacked deep underground below already radioactive mountains. chernobyl using weapons grade uranium and fukashima with non passive cooling generator failure.
