you could put it into a downpayment on a house as well as renovations slash a few mortgage payments. renovate into two or three units. rent them out, convince the rich kid it is now self sustaining income, as long as the rent income is more than the mortgage payment you are in the clear. bonus points if you are handy in the least.

I do day trade with paper money but I don't make 5% return a day or anything. I make usually $250-600 profit.
