I'm 5'7 130lbs with 0 muscles... How do I start to workout at home before I'm fit enough to not be laughed out of a gym?

Trust me, nobody gives a fuck how small/weak you are at the gym. I actually feel proud for the really out of shape people I see at the gym

What sort of gyms do you have around?
When I first joined, I was a lanky skeleton that was week af, but nobody laughed. In fact, people are either to busy with their own shit, or will help you. Especially if you are willing to work and dedicate time to it.

As for working out at home, no need to complicate it. Google bodyweight progression and go from there. Work yourself up to a normal level (aka can do some pushups, bw squats and potentially pullups if you have a bar).

Nutrition, likewise, keep it simple. No need to start counting calories yet, especially since you are skelly mode. Eat whole foods, focus on protein. Add a glass of milk with every meal to put some size one. Ultimately this will be easier when you lift weight thought.
And again, don't worry about other people in the gym, you are there to improve yourself, not to win any contest.

I concur. The strongest and most muscular guys at the gym are usually the friendliest and most helpful. Obviously if they are in the middle of the workout they don't want to be disturbed, but will galdly help if you have questions afterwards.

Nobody’s going to laugh you out of the gym, nobody cares, you’ll hardly be paid attention to. There’s no substitute for a rack and a barbell.
